As a serving Colorado State Trooper, Colorado Springs Police Officer, and El Paso Sheriff's Deputy, I have witnessed crime firsthand and looked it in the eye. With dozens of arrests and encounters with fugitives, it's safe to say I've had my fair share of dealing with the law, which is exactly why I am the best fit for the job.
As crime is on the rise in El Paso, both citizens and emergency responders have to fear going out into the streets they once loved. Your rights as citizens are being taken away by ruthless criminals and organizations who have no regard for human life.
That is where we need a strong District Attorney, who doesn't care about the backlash, and will prosecute outlaws to the fullest extent. I also share a common interest alongside the Colorado Springs Fire Department in ensuring the safety of emergency responders.
